Paola Rey (born Paola Andrea Rey on December 19, 1979 in Bucaramanga, Colombia) is a Colombian actress best known as Jimena Elizondo Acevedo in Pasión de Gavilanes. She was studying industrial engineering at the Universidad de Sabana before she started acting. In 1996 she tried out for a role in the Telenovela Fuego Verde and was surprised when she landed a role. She decided to quit her studies and pursue acting.
