Her acting credits include Dark Angel, The Chris Isaak Show, Black Sash, Smallville and Andromeda. Missy had a starring role in the tv-show called Life As We Know It, which was filmed in Vancouver.

Missy is a keen and dedicated soccer player, however due to her busy work schedule it has forced her to take time away from the sport, but she picks up games whenever she can. She also enjoys snowboarding and outdoor sports on the local Vancouver mountains. She currently resides in Vancouver with her family.
