Long before her days on the popular MTV reality series “The Osbournes” (2002-2004), Kelly was exposed to the prying eyes and flashing cameras of the press early in her childhood as she spent most of her childhood touring with her father during his prime. Unlike most conventional upbringings, Kelly grew accustomed to the fame her father's career had ignited and learned to live in the chaos of the public eye. In 1995, a permanent move to Los Angeles resurrected Ozzy Osbourne as a metal icon, bringing even more attention to the family. And although seemingly dysfunctional, the Osbournes created unique family bonds over their years spent in the limelight. It was during MTV's visit for “Cribs” (2000 - ) that Kelly and her family's brash nature quickly caught the interest of the viewing public and the sensation of “The Osbournes” was created.

Documenting the lives of the entertaining and quirky foursome- dad Ozzy, mom Sharon, and brother Jack- led to instant stardom for Kelly, as her effortless ability to be brutally frank was welcomed by TV audiences everywhere. Boldly expressing her thoughts such as dislike for pop-sensation Christina Aguilera not only branded Kelly as the loud-mouthed and gutsy “reality” starlet, but she also kept ratings up with her wild antics. This along with her unique style helped propel Kelly's subsequent recording and acting career.

In November 2002, Osbourne jumped at the opportunity to capitalize on her newfound celebrity by releasing a cover of Madonna's “Papa Don't Preach,” followed by her debut album titled “Shut Up!” This led Osbourne to one of her first film debuts in the family comedy “The Master of Disguise” (2002), where she was cast as a singer. Although her single was a hit, Her album was meagerly successful and later re-released as “Changes” in September 2003. Her album signified some tumultuous times she had endured including her mother Sharon's, battle with cancer and her own experiences with drug rehabilitation. After extensive treatment, Kelly immersed herself in work and began working on her new album, due out in late 2004, which she has described to be more 80s pop with lots of synthesizers. Focused on aspirations to also be an actress, she traded her real-life character on “The Osbournes” for a scripted role on the new ABC teen drama, “Life as We Know It” (2004 - ), where she plays Deborah, an overweight and promiscuous high school student.

Osbourne's colorful, progressive and often outrageous sense of style has made her a darling of the entertainment and fashion magazines, including landing her the cover of People Magazine's “2003 Best Dressed” issue. A true individual, she has always experimented with her hair color ranging from dark black to purple with spikes, and has over a half dozen tattoos.
