More than just a rising star thanks to accomplishments on both the big and small screens, Julie Bowen is a jewel to behold. Not only is she a beauty with brains (she graduated from Brown University), she's also quite a versatile actress. Truly, Bowen is a hot commodity worth keeping an eye on. Significant spots in films like Happy Gilmore and Multiplicity preceded Bowen's emergence as a television star. On NBC, she held down a guest spot on ER before landing her best regular role yet, as Carol Vessey on Ed. She has not abandoned film work, however, as she has since appeared alongside Tim Allen in Joe Somebody. Usually, we'd be somewhat irritated that the name "Julie Bowen" isn't immediately recognizable, but having Bowen all to ourselves is not a bad prospect. But being the nice guys that we are, we figured that sharing the wealth with our brethren would be better than keeping this beauty under wraps. Though Ed is a popular show, it doesn't give Bowen nearly as much street cred as she deserves. Think about it though: with an infectious smile and classic beauty, how could we not love Julie Bowen? She is arguably one of the most unassuming and brightest stars on television. Relaxing in our den is that much more enjoyable when Ed is on, thanks to her.
