Harumi Inoue was a popular Japanese fashion model and pin-up girl of the 1990s. She appeared on the short-lived Japanese TV series Kimi To Deatte Kara (1995) and starred in the 2000 horror film Freeze Me . In reviewing that film, New York Times critic A.O. Scott called Inoue "fine-boned and excitable" and "an effective horror heroine and clearly a fearless actress, often carrying out her grisly deeds in the nude." She also co-starred in the 2002 film Asakusa Kid .
