Carly Pope will always be popular with us, thanks to her near-constant presence on the screen and her near-goddess appearance. Don't let her last name fool you; Carly has never been known to wear tall hats or, thank goodness, long, flowing robes. Although she is best known for her role as Sam McPherson on the WB series Popular, Carly has expanded her resume to include the thriller The Glass House and the hit comedy Orange County. We may have been a bit too mature for Popular during its two-year run on the WB, but we give Carly Pope credit nonetheless -- for her acting, for her continued success, and for her unflinching ascension to the league of nude actresses. Carly Pope is a babe, and God bless her (no pun intended) for realizing it. Her spreads in FHM were right on the money and we wish she'd do more of the sort. But then she wouldn't have as much time to appease the scores of young fans who still think she's queen of the nerds, like her character on Popular. We, however, know the truth: Carly is too damn hot to be a nerd.
